Glorious Green

Most of you know by now that I have a weak spot for green, the deeper and richer, the better.  So when I first saw Revlon Color Stay Rainforest I admit I went a bit weak in the knees.
I mean look at this, can you blame me?  The question of course, was how would it translate from bottle to nail.  The answer.  Just beautifully.
Products Used, Revlon Color Stay in Rainforest, Glam and Glits hexagons in Laser (green)
This applied like a dream and color is so multi-dimentional with the hint of limey gold shimmer  This is just two coats.

Not being one for just a straight color as of late I wanted to add a wee bit of bling, just enough to capture interest, but not so much as to take the attention away from the polish.  So I picked out my green hexes and added one to each nail base.

It worked beautifully.  The color was king, but when I moved my hands, the hexes captured the light, flashing against the dark green backdrop and drawing attention straight to my nails.  I got so many complements.  It goes to show that sometimes simpler is better.

What is one of your simple but attention getting looks?

Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate you taking the time to read and comment.  Until next time, take care!

  3. Sometimes I just add a simple nail sticker and it makes any mani look interesting. :)

    1. Sometimes simplicity is the best thing you can do. This polish speaks for it's self for the most part, and you're right, it is a very sexy green.
